Stop 1: Ajdovščina Area

We’ll walk down Slovenian Street, the most important street in Ljubljana, dating back to Roman times! ️During Yugoslavian times, it had a different name, and I’ll share with you why it was renamed and what it represented for the communist leaders. ️

Stop 6: Republic Square
Our last stop is Republic Square, the largest postmodernist square in Ljubljana. ️This square played a huge role in shaping our daily lives, and many historic events took place here. ️ I’ll share key moments that happened on this square, making it a true symbol of change in Tito’s Yugoslavia. Trg Osvobodilne Fronte, or Liberation Front Square, is a historic square in Ljubljana named after the WWII resistance movement. It's home to the iconic Ljubljana Train Station and the striking Baroque-style Ljubljana Post Office building. The square is a symbolic gateway to the city, blending history with urban life.
