About this experience

By far the most popular tour in La Paz and it is AMAZING! Swim with Sea Lions, watch for whales or pods of dolpins, and Lunch on the most beautiful beach on the Island.

Snorkel Los Islotes and the largest colony of California Sea Lions in the Sea of Cortez. (Sept-May)
You will learn of the geology and history of the original inhabitants of the area. This UNESCO Site full of shallow blue bays lined with Mangroves in front of stunning mountain peaks is pure eye-candy.

All groups are permitted 30 minutes with these playful and curious animals and it is the highlight of many clients.

Time for Beach Lunch! 2 hrs on Ensenada Grande or similar location for fresh ceviche and sandwiches under shades and time to relax and take it all in.

This is a FULL day activity. It is 40+ km to Islotes and the Sea Lions.

Detailed itinerary

Watch for dolphins or whales as we pass along the scenic bays of Tesoro, Balandra, and Tecalote then the San Lorenzo Channel on our way to the south end on the island.

Stop 2

On our full day Experience we will explore the hidden blue coves, epic white sand beaches of the island. Passing unique geology, sea life, The Arch of Espiritu Santo, swim with playful sea lions of Islotes at the north end of the island.  All before 1 1/2 hours on Ensenada Grande or another amazing beach, with time for fresh ceviche and sandwiches under shades, snorkel or sunbath, even explore the terrain of the Island.  

This is a FULL DAY we will cover almost 100km on your adventure.

Islotes is home to the largest sea lion colony in the Sea of Cortez. We will spend time snorkeling with these curious and playful animals in their natural habitat, watching mothers teach their pups among the cereal and sea life surrounding this amazing location.

ALL boats are limited to 30 minutes in this activity and
strong currents or presence of too many jellyfish are factors that sometimes affect this activity.

We will visit the amazing Ensenada Grande or similar beach for time to enjoy fresh lunch of ceviche and sandwiches as well as time to snorkel or relax un our large shades.

We will pass the "Hugo de Balandra" for your photo op at the most beautiful beach in all of Mexico.
