Detailed itinerary

In Kos town we will go through the "Eleftherias" square, the Public Market, the Casa Romana, the Archeological Museum and the Mosque of Defterdar. Then, we will visit the famous Platanos square, with the famous plane tree, where Hippocrates used to teach his students, as well as the stunning 15th-century Neratzia Castle on the harbor.

Next, step back in time at ancient Asklepeion, which remains one of Greece's most important archaeological sites. Enjoy guiding in this famous healing sanctuary where Hippocrates' oath was written!

Next stop will be the mountain village of Zia, which sprawls beneath Mount Dikaios and is best known for traditional architecture and wonderful views of the coast. You will have free time for taking pictures, shopping in the little shops of the village or having delicious lunch in one of its traditional Greek taverns (optional).

If you dare, do not hesitate climb till its top of Old Pyli Castle for a breathtaking view.

At the end of the excursion, you have the chance to capture amazing photos at Kefalos village at the south part of the island. Enjoy your free time tasting local delicacies and wine, or drinking coffee gazing at the Aegean Sea.
