Due to the rules inside the Sistine Chapel, guides are not permitted to speak. As a result, the guide will provide an explanation of the Sistine Chapel's significance and its artwork while the group is in the queue to enter the Vatican Museums. The guide will still accompany you inside the Sistine Chapel, but no further commentary can be given once inside.
During Sede Vacante, the Sistine Chapel may close without prior notice for the Papal Conclave. Access is not guaranteed, and no refunds will be provided for such closures.
Please be aware that this tour is not wheelchair or scooter accessible due to the presence of numerous stairs throughout the museums. Unfortunately, there are no elevators available for use.
