The beach is also famous for the Phra Nang Cave or "Princess Cave"

Thale Waek is a stunning island located in Krabi Province, Thailand. Its name means "separated sea," referring to a unique phenomenon where a sandbar emerges during low tide, connecting the island to nearby Koh Gai (Chicken Island). This natural spectacle allows visitors to walk between the two islands. Thale Waek is famous for its clear turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, and breathtaking views.

The most recognizable feature of Chicken Island is the rock formation that resembles a chicken's head and neck.
