Your private wine adventure begins with a warm welcome from our knowledgeable local guide, who will pick you up directly from your accommodation in Santiago. As you travel through the city toward the Cajon del Maipo Tourism Destination, your guide will share fascinating stories about the different areas of city and about Chile’s heritage and offer insights into local life with valuable information.

You’ll stop at the entrance to the Cajón del Maipo area for a panoramic view of the mountains and river. At the same time, you’ll gain insight into the political events of the Pinochet dictatorship.

You'll visit the historic town of San José de Maipo, founded by Ambrosio O'Higgins in 1792. Explore the town's rich history as you stroll through its streets. You'll see the main church (Parroquia) built in 1798, the central square, the old hospital, the town hall, and a charming local coffee shop

You’ll visit Embalse El Yeso, a stunning reservoir surrounded by the majestic Andes. Take in the breathtaking views of the turquoise waters and the towering mountains, while learning about the reservoir’s importance to the region.

Please note: Access to Embalse El Yeso is closed from May through the end of November. During this period, we will visit an alternative viewpoint where you can admire the impressive Maipo Volcano from a distance.
