Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

iSimangaliso in the local Zulu Language means place of "miracle" of "wonder" and it is just that! Nestled along South Africas warm east coast with it's unspoilt beaches, warm Indian ocean and high vergetated sand dunes - some of the highest in the world and the vast wetlands of the inland lakes, marshes and St Lucia Estuary itself lies iSimangaliso Wetland Park. South Africa's first declared UNESCO World Heritage Site for Nature, also home to 4 RAMSAR sites within the park boundries as well as seasonal whale migrations and nesting loggerhead and leatherback turtles.

A truly magical place that offers you a unique "double" safari experience. You have to drive 30km through the park taking various loops and side roads searching for the awesome wilflife that abounds in the park just to get to the beautiful and unspoilt beach at Cape Vidal. After enjoying the beach and wildlife that surrounds you here, you have to do it all over again to get out of the park! A truly unique place to visit!
