Detailed itinerary

Finca Ecologica San Luis is an outstanding family-run farm featuring an extensive network of trails, the stunning Rio San Luis, and a historic sugar cane mill. Situated at the base of the Continental Divide, this remarkable location, combined with its diverse primary and secondary forests, showcases an extraordinary range of biodiversity. It’s an ideal destination, particularly for enthusiastic bird watchers. The family has owned the farm since 1950 and - although it remains a working farm - much of it is left wild with great trails. The owners’ passion for their wildlife is incredible! We talked at length and they told us all kinds of stories. This is what Eco-Tourism looks like at its best - a local family providing an incomparable experience.
