Detailed itinerary

At 7 am, we will be at your hotel to pick you up and go to Mindo. The driving time is approximately 2 hours

After 1 hour and a half of driving, we will arrive at the central market of Nanegalito, where we will start the tour, looking at the many fruits and vegetables produced in the area, some of them unique to Ecuador, and we will get to know the local people as well which are pretty warm and welcoming

Here at San Tadeo Birding, we will see the hummingbird, we have approximately 400 species of it living in Mindo and the Andean Choco natural reserves. We will interact with them, have them at our hands, and even feed them. If we are lucky, we will see the double-tailed hummingbird!

Besides being the biggest reserve for the hummingbird in Ecuador Mindo is also a pretty important reserve for butterflies, here we will have the chance to see them and to learn about the process that they get through from larvas to a beautiful colorful winged being, we will see species like the monarch, the owl eye, and the common blue

Here at the waterfall´s sanctuary we will be in complete contact with nature, walking through the cloud forest of Nambillo to see the 7 waterfalls and to see Nambillo river as well, here you can bath at the waterfalls and receive the waterstream at your back which is a kind natural spa if you have backpain, we will appreciate nature at its fullest instead of words we will hear the harmony of this green paradise as we walk through it, after all the effort approx 1 hour of walking we will come back using the cablecar and appreciate a panoramic view of all the area we walked
