The Monowaki Suspension Bridge at Jogasaki Coast is a thrilling suspension bridge offering spectacular views of sheer cliffs and the sea. Spanning a lava plateau formed by the eruption of Mt. Omuro about 4,000 years ago, it is approximately 48 meters long and 23 meters above sea level. The surrounding area features hiking trails such as the “Shirahama Picnic Course” and the “Shirahama Nature Study Path,” where visitors can enjoy diverse natural scenery including cliffs, lighthouses, and beautiful flowers.
