Detailed itinerary

1

Shiraito Falls is located on the border of Nagano and Gunma prefectures, along the Shiraito Expressway, and is a popular tourist attraction in Karuizawa, Nagano. The beautiful, fresh and refined waterfall is a must-see. The waterfall is 3 meters high and 70 meters wide, and is formed by the water from the groundwater gushing out from the rock surface. The water is as fine as silk, and the scene of gushing down is like a "white silk", so the name "Shiraito Falls" is derived. There is a flat road for visitors to walk between the parking lot and the waterfall, which is convenient and also a major attraction. The stream gurgles, the birds chirp, and you are immersed in the symphony of nature. When you stroll leisurely, the sound of the waterfall suddenly interweaves. The waterfall is as fine as a thread, but it forms a breathtaking atmospheric picture. In the summer, a month-long projection projection lighting event is held.

2

In the 10th year of Taisho, the "Karuizawa Kogen Church" was born in Karuizawa, a city full of Christian culture, as the venue for the "Art Free Education Seminar". This seminar is a place for the pursuit of a truly rich soul, where people talk to each other, making it a particularly popular place for cultural people. In addition, wedding ceremonies have been held here since 1965, and it is famous as a church where non-Christians wear wedding dresses. The attitude of this church, which is accepted even by non-Christians in their thoughts and religions, should now be transformed into a place of truly rich souls. One of the charms of this church is that you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and lighting up in all seasons.

3

Karuizawa Stone Church "Uchimura Kenzo Memorial Hall" is a representative building of the church based on the thoughts of Japanese Christian thinker Uchimura Kenzo. It has a chapel on the ground floor and the Uchimura Kenzo Memorial Hall underground. It was designed by American architect Kendrick Kellogg. , with a unique shape of overlapping stone brick and glass arches. Architect Kellogg is famous for his "organic architecture" that utilizes natural materials without any artificial processing. The unique design of this building in Karuizawa, which has a beautiful natural environment, has also been highly praised. The sentence "The place where you pray is the church" represents Uchimura Kanzo's ecclesiastical thinking, so this church does not have a cross. The concept of Uchimura is to feel the pure self surrounded by nature and unfettered. The church buildings are all themed with elements in nature. You can feel your soul being baptized by this natural and solemn place. experience.

4

Harunire Terrace is a facility based on the concept of daily life in Karuizawa, along the Yukawa River that flows through Karuizawa Town in eastern Nagano Prefecture. It is a place that gathers many unique shops and restaurants. Using more than 100 spring elms that originally grew here, many buildings are connected by wooden pallets, creating a "small street". This is a spot where visitors can enjoy shopping and dining in the comfortable climate of Karuizawa, a well-known resort. During the rainy season, you can enjoy "Umbrella Sky" where many colorful umbrellas bloom in the sky. At "Picchio" in the same district as the Elm Street Town, visitors can participate in natural ecology observation and observe white-cheeked flying squirrels flying in the sky. In addition, the "Kera Pond" in front of Picchio is transformed into an ice skating rink in winter, where both adults and children can have fun.

5

Kumoba Pond is a narrow artificial lake located in Karuizawa Town, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. It is one of the three major scenic spots in Karuizawa. In the past, swans would come every winter, and it was praised as the "Swan Lake" by foreigners who came to Karuizawa for sightseeing. There is a complete flat walking path around the pond. It takes about 20 to 25 minutes to walk around. You can slow down and enjoy the picturesque scenery of the four seasons reflected on the lake. The surroundings are quiet and elegant, especially when there is no wind, the lake surface is like a mirror, which can be said to be a mysterious momentary beauty.

6

Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza is located in Karuizawa, one of the most famous summer resorts in Japan. From well-known brands at home and abroad to local specialties of Karuizawa, about 240 unique stores are gathered in this largest outlet shopping mall in Japan. The rare holiday atmosphere obtained by fully utilizing the vast area and natural scenery adds a touch of wonderful feeling to your shopping experience. In such a luxurious shopping environment, shopping is absolutely enjoyable, which is also one of the characteristics of this outlet shopping mall. In addition, there are tourist attractions such as Karuizawa's hot springs and ski resorts in the surrounding area, plus the Karuizawa Prince Hotel and many accommodation facilities, it is really a good choice for sightseeing and shopping.
