About this experience

Have you ever seen the frozen faerie of the bluish and yellowish ice forms between the fearsome rocks in the tunnel of lacy snowy trees? It’s a must! Just join us for a day hike to Korouoma canyon and Riisitunturi national park.
Riisitunturi is located 150 kilometers from Rovaniemi. After about a 2 hours drive from Rovaniemi our guide will introduce you to the beauty of the pristine Lappish forest. The park is a stunning hiking destination.

After the loop hike at the National park we are going to deep dive in the gorgeous Korouoma canyon and the meanders of the river Korojoki. You can rest for about an hour or admire the landscape while we drive you to the gorge.
The canyon is a reserved area with 14 big & small completely Frozen waterfalls, We will spend 2 hours and see the three most scenic waterfalls.
Your guide will expose you to local species and teach you more about the environment as you stroll through this Taiga forest.

The canyon is a reserved area with 14 waterfalls. We will have 1.5 hours hiking to see the two most scenic waterfalls and 1 hour BBQ lunch.

4 kilometers loop hike to the top where are the fluffy trees and scenic view. The snow crown loads in winter are the main attraction creating a fairyland. Is also known among nature photographers worldwide for its photogenic white forests.
