Isla del Caño Biological Reserve: Where you can find and observe the most extensive and best condition coral reef on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. The crystal clear water will allow you to observe the great variety of marine life that inhabits there. You will have the opportunity to find: Sharks, Turtles, Manta rays, Pufferfish, barracuda fish shoals, Snappers, Eels, Tuna and many more. One of the best places in Costa Rica for snorkeling. Without a doubt it is a great experience that you can enjoy with family, friends or if you are passionate about marine life.
The start time is in our office at 7:00 am, we will be waiting for you with a delicious snack (coffee/juice, cookies) while we wait for the group to be completed. Then we'll head to Whale Marine National Park, where our boat awaits us to begin the adventure.
The boat tour from the PN Marino Ballena to the Biological Reserve takes 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once we have reached Canyon Island we will start with the first snorkel and after that time we will take a break for a small refreshment, then return to the second snorkel. At the end of the snorkel we will have time to have lunch on the beach. After that we will return to the boat to make the second trip back to the PN Marino Ballena again ending at 3:00 pm.
