Leaving the shop, we're immediately immersed in Fremantle’s architecture and history. The convict-built Boys School is on our doorstep, opposite the stunning Basilica.
Train Station and Original Shoreline Trail
A short ride takes us to the Train Station, where we follow the original shoreline trail. This trail showcases the historic development of Fremantle and its relationship with the sea.
The port is central to Western Australia’s history. At the CY O’Connor statue, we'll discuss the engineer's significant contributions and the post-war migrant anxieties depicted in the nearby installation.
Gage Roads Brewery and Maritime Museum
Next, we visit Gage Roads Brewery and the Maritime Museum. The laneways here reveal stories of Fremantle’s WWII submarine base, with views of the HMAS Ovens.
The Round House and Whalers Tunnel
We pass The Round House and stand at the entrance of the Whalers Tunnel. Nearby at Bathers Beach, we see the remains of the original jetty where Captain Fremantle landed, with Challenger Harbour next door.

C.Y. O'Connor Beach is a relaxed, dog-friendly spot known for its golden sands, clear waters, and snorkeling around a unique offshore statue of engineer C.Y. O'Connor.

Your electric bike will shine as we glide to the end of South Mole at the harbour entrance. Here, you’ll get an up-close view of the engineering marvel of Fremantle Harbour and witness giant container ships entering and exiting.
End your tour at The Left Bank, a historic riverside pub, where you can unwind and share stories over a drink.
Cruising back into Fremantle, we take the backstreets to the historic Fremantle Prison. We'll stop at the entrance and circle the prison walls, delving into its intriguing past.
Dolphin Spotting and Containbow
Riding along the river, we keep an eye out for dolphins. Our final sightseeing stop is The Containbow, perfect for an Instagram-worthy shot before returning to the shop.
