About this experience

After registration, the meeting point is at the Käfigturm. Then you walk through the old town. On the way, you can enjoy Bern's chocolate history. You will be served well-known chocolates. At the shop of a small chocolatier, you will also receive a box with a selection of award-winning chocolates.

Conching was developed in Bern and has become the standard method for making chocolate worldwide. This is Bern's most important chocolate history, but at the same time it is also the least known. By being shown the conching technique, you will learn the true story of today's chocolate (melted chocolate).

At the end, you will have seen the old town of Bern from a sweet perspective. Each guest must then decide for themselves whether Bern was a chocolate capital or whether the claim is just marketing.
