Huanglong National Park is a scenic and historic interest area located in Songpan county, in the northwest part of Sichuan. The Park is known for its colorful travertine pools formed by calcite deposits, as well as diverse forest ecosystems, snow-capped peaks, waterfalls and hot springs.
Itinerary details:
Pick up from your hotel then transfer to Chengdu East Train Station for train to Songpan and meet by local driver then head to Huanglong National Park directly.
One way cable car up to the highest point,then walk down on wooden boardpath to famous main site of Five Colors Pond, then Huanglong Temple, after walk down towards the entrance, total about 4 or 5 hours, get out of the Park about 7 pm, then transfer back to Jiuzhai Huanglong Train Station back to Chengdu.
After arrival Chengdu East Station, follow sign to West Square till see Burger King restaurant, meet driver here then transfer to your hotel.
