12:30 – Yamanashi | Kawaguchiko Panoramic Kachikachi Ropeway (approx. 90 min, ropeway fee included)
Ride the scenic ropeway up to Mt. Tenjo at 1,075 meters above sea level for a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. On clear days, you can even see the Southern Alps. At the summit, ring the “Bell of Tenjo” said to grant wishes, and explore the whimsical decorations inspired by Dazai Osamu’s folktale Kachikachi Yama. The ropeway cars and observation decks are adorned with rabbit and raccoon motifs, perfect for photos.
Note: The ropeway may be suspended due to weather or maintenance. In such cases, the itinerary will be replaced with the Lake Kawaguchi Samurai Warship Cruise (Tenshō Maru) or ropeway fee refunded.
