10:40 – Nikko Toshogu Shrine Area
Dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Edo Shogunate, Toshogu is one of Japan’s most iconic historical and cultural sites. Together with Futarasan Shrine and Rinnoji Temple, it forms the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Shrines and Temples of Nikko.”
The shrine complex includes about 55 buildings, featuring 8 National Treasures and 34 Important Cultural Properties. Highlights include:
Yomeimon Gate – Known as the “Gate of Sunlight,” it features over 500 intricate carvings and is admired for its lavish decoration and unparalleled craftsmanship.
Admire the Yomeimon Gate, known as the “Gate of Sunlight,” with over 500 intricate carvings. See the famous Three Wise Monkeys, the Sleeping Cat, and the Imaginary Elephants.

14:00 – Irohazaka Winding Road (Drive-through)
A scenic mountain road, part of Japan’s “Top 100 Roads,” connecting Nikko City to Lake Chuzenji and Oku-Nikko. It spans 15.8 km with a total of 48 sharp curves. Particularly stunning in autumn, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of vibrant autumn foliage. From the Akechidaira Ropeway, visitors can also view Kegon Falls and Lake Chuzenji.

15:00 – Lake Chuzenji
Japan’s highest natural lake, Lake Chuzenji offers spectacular scenery year-round—spring azaleas, lush summer greenery, fiery autumn leaves, and serene winter snow. The spring blooms and autumn foliage are especially famous, attracting photographers from across Japan.

15:40 – Kegon Falls
One of Japan’s “Three Great Waterfalls” and a major attraction in Nikko National Park. The water from Lake Chuzenji flows into the Daiya River and drops 99 meters in a dramatic cascade. The protruding rock face creates 12 smaller side waterfalls, enhancing the beauty of the scene. Autumn’s red leaves make it an especially photogenic spot.

From November to December, the meeting time will be 1 hour earlier on weekends. The tour bus departs from Tokyo Station at 7 o'clock and from Shinjuku Station at 7:30.(Advanced 1 hour)
