The Lemosho Route is one of the most scenic and less crowded routes used to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. It is known for its beauty, high success rate, and gradual acclimatization profile.
The Lemosho Route begins on the western slopes of Kilimanjaro, crossing the lush rainforest, expansive heath and moorland, the dramatic Shira Plateau, and the alpine desert before joining the Machame Route near Lava Tower. It then ascends to Barafu Camp and makes the final summit push to Uhuru Peak via Stella Point.
