Action Zipline Tours are the most exciting way to experience Big Bear, weather permitting. The three hour tour includes an off-road ride two miles into the forest, with nine high-speed zipline lines that run down our mountain for the most avid thrill-seekers, a beautiful suspension bridge with stunning views of Johnson Valley as a backdrop for it all, Action Zipline Tours is truly an adventure. Our expert staff of tour guides will show you how to have the most fun ziplining in Big Bear.

Detailed itinerary

Your zipline tour includes nine zipline runs of various lengths, along with Pinzgauer (a 4-wheeled safari jeep type vehicle) rides to and from our scenic launch deck on the mountain, a walk across a beautiful suspension bridge, historical information about the area from our expert tour guides, plus all the equipment and safety information you’ll need to have a safe and exciting adventure.

You will start by checking in 20 minutes before your tour at the Action Tours departure center located in the heart of beautiful Big Bear Lake. After watching a short safety video you will ride in our luxury vans approximately 20 minutes outside of town where you will meet your tour guides and transfer to a Pinzgauer for the 2 mile trek deep into the forest.

Your zipline adventure begins at the top of the mountain where you will gear up with a helmet, gloves and a harness and listen as your experienced guides provide a safety orientation and ziplining tips and tricks. As you make your way down the mountain you will experience nine different ziplines of varying lengths ranging from 140 ft. – 860 ft and reach speeds up to 45 mph.

Your tour will end when you return to our departure center after approximately three hours. All participants on the tour are required to walk short distances, ascend and descend stairs, need to be of average mobility and strength, in reasonably good health and cannot be pregnant. Those with preexisting injuries, back, neck, foot, respiratory or heart issues should consult their physician prior to booking this trip.
