An excursion is much more than just to take you from your hotel in Mallorca to the venue. Our philosophy is that every excursion in Mallorca should be an experience and we use the best guides and choose the best itineraries to ensure that we create unforgettable experiences.
We will pick you up in a private vehicle (normally a mini bus) right outside where your cruise docks, and we will drive to the Tramuntana Mountain area.
We will stop here briefly to take in the gorgeous views and so you can take a few pictures to remember this experience!
The name Sa Foradada comes from having a hole on the rock structure that is visible from several points in the mountain range.
Legend has it that this hole is the result of a cannon shot during the war between North African corsairs and Christians under the orders of Mateu Sanglada in 1582.
Deia has been chosen as a place of residence for numerous writers, musicians and artists. Most famous of them Robert Graves, English poet and author, who settled there and was inspired by Deia to write his most famous book: “Yo, Claudio”. His house can be visited and his furniture, personal memories, photo books of literary are still preserved, and it is also a good example of what the typical Majorcan houses look like.
Walk along the streets of Deia you will feel the bohemian vibe. The art is everywhere! It’s a peaceful village and excellent restaurants, one with a Michelin star! For a small village there is such a good choice of restaurants. Deià is a foodie heave as well as an artistic one.
Then we start the guided walk at the town hall square where we will admire its square; one of the landmarks of the city. From there, we will walk to the monumental area where we will find Palma Cathedral and the Almudaina Palace, two of the most important monuments in Palma de Mallorca.
During the tour, our guide will explain you what you see so you can understand better how the city of Palma de Mallorca is, and the relation between the city and the places we pass during the guided walk.
You will be taken on a sightseeing tour on our coach from where you will have great panoramic views of the entire city including a photo stop with magnificent views over the whole of Palma. This tour will reach all the areas of Palma including the commercial area, the sea front, the port and the cruise area.
We will pick you up and drop you off by your cruise ship or, if you are staying at a hotel, outside your hotel or at a nearby pick-up point.
Once you have made the booking, please send us a message via the Viator app or by email online@nofrills-excursions.com to let us know where you need to be picked up—whether it's your cruise ship or hotel.
