The excursion to the caves of Mallorca starts by picking you up at your hotels or a pick up point nearby. Once everyone is onboard our guide will give information about what to expect during the day and the itinerary you will be following. The guide will also be sharing useful information as well as interesting facts, not only about Mallorca's caves but also about the places we will be passing by during our journey. As we head towards the East Coast of the island you will see a different and more traditional authentic side of the island in comparison with the more modern south. It is in the East Coast where we will find both the the Caves of Drach and Caves of Hams.
On our way to the Caves we will venture through Montuïri, famous for its windmills! Historically linked to cereal and flour production, and it presents an important combination of culture, heritage and tradition.
Our guide will provide you with some interesting facts and history on this authentic side of the island!
The next stop is at Mallorca's most well-known caves: the Caves of Drach. These are in fact the biggest and most beautiful caves in Mallorca. Visising these caves will be by far one of the highlights of your stay in Mallorca. There we will enjoy the magical classical music concert performed by musicians on boats in Lake Martel. After the concert and the fascinating light display that recreates the sunrise, you will be given the option, free of charge, to cross Lake Martel's spectacular waters by boat.
We will then continue on to the Caves of Drach and the Caves of Hams which are considered to be the best out of Mallorca’s 200 caves. At the spectacular Caves of Hams you will be taken on a guided tour which will help you discover details unique to these caves as well as plenty of interesting and curious facts, making your visit without a doubt a very unique experience.
The first stop we will be making will be at Mallorca Pearls where you will be able to get to know a little more about the rigourous manufactoring process of this product. In this area of the island there is a tradition of producing pearls that recreate natural ones. This is one of Mallorca's mos well known products. There, at Mallorca Pearls, you will also be given the opportunity to purchase goods at outlet prices.
Then we will take you to Porto Cristo where you will have free time. At Porto Cristo you can stroll around the charming town or relax on its sandy spectacular beach or even have a swim in it's turquoise coloured water. There are also a wide range of restaurants and cafes where you can grab something to eat.
