Begin your day with a scenic drive along the coast to the hilltop village of Eze, known for its breathtaking Mediterranean views. Climb a few steps to the top for an unforgettable panorama and visit the famous Fragonard perfumery to learn about the art of perfume making. Continue through the village of La Turbie, home to the Trophy of the Alps, and arrive in Monaco, the luxurious principality. Admire the ruins of the Trophy of the Alps, a 164-foot-tall (50-meter) monument dedicated to Emperor Augustus, built circa 7 BC on the road that once linked Italy with Cimiez (the Roman quarter of Nice).
