Start with a pleasant panoramic ride along the Adriatic coastline.
The first stop will be made in the small village of Orašac where we will participate in a demonstration of the olive oil production the old-fashioned way, where the mill is run by a horse.
After visiting the village of Orašac you will continue towards the Pelješac peninsula, famous for its wine, seafood and salt pans. Our first stop is village Ponikve where we will visit a small family-owned winery that produces high quality wine and seafood brought fresh from their beds in the nearby Mali Ston bay.
As a cherry on top of a cake comes the town of Ston, the “oyster capital” of Croatia. Especially interesting are the magnificent 5-km long walls surrounding the town – the longest defense walls after the Great Wall of China, and its ancient salt pans where the salt is still produced the same way as back in the time of the Dubrovnik Republic, as well as the time of the Romans, who built them.
