Experience fire and ice in the kingdom of King’s Landing as you explore the city where George Martin’s fantasy became a reality! Did you ever think it would be possible to visit Westeros and Essos in the same day? Well in Dubrovnik it is! This unique Game of Thrones tour will allow you to relive some of the most memorable moments from the revered HBO TV series as you explore beautiful Dubrovnik with a local by your side.
Get ready to fall in love with the capital of the Seven Kingdoms! Your Game of Thrones journey begins at Ploče Gate, where Cersei’s walk of shame ended. Follow her footsteps down St. Dominic Street to the iconic Jesuit Steps, scene of her most infamous moment.
As we walk, we'll pass the Rector’s Palace, where Daenerys sought ships to Westeros. This is one of the few scenes filmed with Daenerys in Dubrovnik! Then, we'll visit the Jesuit Steps, where Cersei’s infamous walk of shame began—despite initial filming objections. Afterward, we’ll pop by a quirky shop where you can sit on an Iron Throne replica and snap some epic photos for the grandkids!
We'll head to Pile Gate, where key scenes from seasons 2-5 were filmed. See where Joffrey was attacked, Sansa tried to escape, and Jaime returned to King’s Landing. Hear insider stories and then stroll to the port of King’s Landing, where Sansa dreamed of escape, learning how Dubrovnik was transformed for the show.
Our final stop is a short climb to Fort Lovrijenac, the stunning 16th-century Red Keep. Marvel at the technology HBO used to bring it to life and enjoy breathtaking views of Dubrovnik and the coastline. We'll explore, snap photos, and channel our inner King Joffrey. Before you leave, be sure to ask your guide for the latest city news and restaurant tips!
