About this experience

Tour some of the treasures of Lazio on a quality Bosch-equipped Cannondale E-mountain bike with antipuncture tires and comfortable saddle. Discover two hidden hilltop gem-towns of Northern Lazio - Orvieto and Civita di Bagnoregio, and experience a land of beautiful countryside and medieval charm.

After a 1-hour journey by train, we’ll easily cycle through the Tiber Valley on our way to the impressive middle-ages settlement of Civita di Bagnoregio, and then continue towards the unique medieval town of Orvieto. We’ll explore both of these historical settlements and finish the tour with dinner in a wine cellar in front of the famous Cathedral in Orvieto. Pocket lunch and a train ticket back to Rome are also included.

This is a private bicycle tour with a guide in English or Dutch language (please choose your preferred option when booking).
You will cover an area of approximately 36 miles (54 km) with elevation of 880 yards (800 m) Difficulty level: intermediate with Electric-assist bicycle (95% asphalt).
We require that all customers wear a helmet (provided for free).
Are the tours safe? The answer is: absolutely! The tours follow carefully planned routes which have limited access to traffic, and some have no traffic at all; meaning you are able to enjoy your ride around the city in total relaxation and safety and you won't have to worry about traffic
Your group will reach the train station by bicycle.
In the winter season (November-March) you are recommended to bring a pair of gloves.
