About this experience

These tours are from 2 person self guided inflatable kayaks.These are what we at Red Canyon call Double Duckies or for some people Divorce Duckies lol!This lets you experience the excitement of a kayak but with a bit more stability.If you’re interested in intermediate kayaking you’re and looking for excitement then this maybe the way to go.Before we take off for this exciting adventure you’ll be given safety instructions and the equipment needed for this 7 mile adventure.The Shoshone River is filled with stunning scenery and cool rock formations as well as an abundant amount of wildlife.We ask our little “Duckies” to stay close to the leader in either a raft or kayak and you’ll be given the proper information to go through rapids such as”Colters Falls” and “Little Big Drop” before you go through.Safety always comes first at Red Canyon so we ask our guests to please listen to the instructions of the guides.

7 mile Shoshone River duckie tour.Follow along with our guides down the fun,historic,and beautiful Shoshone River.Class 2s and 3s rapids.Have the chance to get into the rapids with more excitement!

9:00 7 Mile Duckie Tour

9:00am Duckie Tour: These are what we call our Duckie Tours.Follow one of our regular rafting tours down the river in you self guided inflatable kayak.You can choose from our 2 hr trip,half day,or full day.

Half Day Duckie Tour

This is an all inclusive inflatable kayak tour.This tour begins at 9:00am and concludes at approximately 1:00.You start in the beautiful Red canyon and raft exciting rapids down 12 miles of river.

Be your own captain on any of Red Canyon’s Whitewater rafting tours.Follow one of our rafts(With a guide)down the Shoshone River’s 7 mile stretch of the river in a fun 2 man inflatable kayak.This adventure moves the FUN needle a bit further with this exciting whitewater experience.The 7 mile stretch of the Shoshone River has beautiful scenery,a variety of wildlife and some fun whitewater rapids.You’ll be given introductory instructions and safety equipment for this adventure.The rapids on this stretch are class 2s and 3s and can definitely get a bit wild.At Red Canyon River Trips “Safety” always comes first.We ask our little duckies to stay insight of your guide and to please listen to instructions before you hit the rapids.For safety purposes this option maybe changed to a trip in a guided raft.We recommend some knowledge of whitewater rafting experiences.
