Delve into the city’s nighttime culinary scene on visits to several popular pubs and restaurants for local favorites such as grilled meat skewers, hot-plate dishes, sweet cakes and sake. All tastings and necessary public transport are included, and you’ll learn a ton about Japanese food and culture from your expert local guide. The Tokyo nightlife awakens after 5 pm, and so does our tour! We’ll meet at Mitsukoshi Ginza, right in front of the iconic Lion statue facing Chuo Street. Don’t forget – we start on time!
After enjoying Wagashi, stroll through vibrant Ginza, full of lights and energy. We may stop by the famous Itoya stationery store.
Take a subway to a local downtown area famous for Monja, a Tokyo original. Enjoy cooking it on the grill at the table!
We'll finish in Yakitori Alley, Yurakucho, enjoying sake or beer with yakitori from local spots, each with their own unique tare sauce.
Mitsukoshi Ginza department store, in front of the life-scale sitting Lion statue outside. When you go up to the A7 exit of Ginza Station to the ground,
you will see the statue. Ginza Station is accessible by: Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, Tokyo Metro Hibiya line and Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line.
Check-in Time
You must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to tour meeting time. The tour will begin on time and your check-in time is important. Out of respect for the other passengers we won't be able to accommodate late arrivals. Due to heavy traffic in Tokyo, please plan your journey in advance, ensuring you arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time of your tour.
