Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

Drive 15 minutes to to Lady Buddha statue on Son Tra peninsula, also known as Monkey Mountain nature reserve. We'll spend about 30 minutes here:

You'll have an easy walk with local guide to visit Lady Buddha statue at half way of Monkey Mountain. With the height of 67 meters / 219 feet, this Goddess of Mercy is considered very sacred for the locals. She smiles upon Da Nang city and blesses the fishing village at the foot of the mountain. You'll see beautiful gardens of flowers and bonsai trees. You'll also have a chance to meet the Macaque monkeys.

Stop 2

Drive 15 minutes along beautiful beach and then into Da Nang city center to visit Dragon Bridge and Love Bridge on the bank of Han River. We'll spend about 15 to 30 minutes here:

Dragon Bridge is considered the icon of Da Nang city. Measuring 666 meters in length, the bridge has the unique shape of a majestic golden dragon.
Located next to Dragon Bridge, Love Bridge is frequently visited by young couples for romantic wedding photos. Local guide will show you dating and wedding customs in Vietnam, which are really fascinating.

Stop 3

Drive 15 minutes along the sea road to Marble Mountain. We'll spend about 90 minutes here:

Located between Da Nang and Hoi An, Marble Mountain is a cluster of five marble and limestone peaks, arose from the sea million years ago. All of the mountains have cave entrances and numerous tunnels which were used by Vietnamese soldiers as hidding bases and hospital during the wars. You will have the opportunity to take in the ocean and river views. Several Buddhist sanctuaries can also be found within the mountains. You'll see many old statues dating back centuries. After Marble Mountain, we will stop at a 500-year-old sculpture village at the foot of the mountain to view a amazing statues made out of marble.

Stop 4

Drive about 15 minutes to Tra Que vegetable village. We'll spend about 15 minutes for walking in the garden and 60 minutes for lunch:

In this 300-year-old village, you'll take a short walk with tour guide, see local farmers working in their gardens to grow different vegetabes and herbs. Soon after that, you'll enjoy a tasty Vietnamese lunch in a nice restaurant with nice views. We'll serve you some of the best Vietnamese dishes.

Stop 5

After lunch, we'll drive 15 minutes to Hoi An old town and spend about 2 or 3 hours here:

Hoi An ancient town, a HERITAGE SITE that was recognized by Unesco in 1999. The city is fascinating with small alleys where local life tucks in. The streets are so beautiful with rustic houses and beautiful lanterns. The unique architecture here combines elements of Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese and French colonial styles. You will learn more about the history and culture of this ancient trading port, dating back from the 15th to the 19th century.

After this eventful day, we drive back to cruise ship and bid the farewell.
