About this experience

An exciting half-day biking tour in rural villages of Hoi An. This fun experience is suitable for all ages.
Meeting at our office - starting point, you'll spend some time to get used with biking. Then we'll cycle on quiet country roads to see scenic farmland & fishing villages. You'll enjoy beautiful views & exciting activities with the locals:
Visit a local home, learn the process of making Bean Sprouts.
Ride past duck farms & cow herds. Visit Tra Que vegetable village, walk in the scenic gardens to smell amazing herbs. Help a local man work the soil, plant & water the vegetables.
Ride along shrimp farms & rice paddies, see buffalo herds to take pictures. Visit Cam Thanh water coconut forest. Hop in the basket boats to enjoy a relaxing trip along the river. Local boat driver will help you use the fishing rod to catch river crabs for fun. Then it's time to enjoy a tasty Vietnamese meal with 5 dishes in a nice restaurant.
Tour with meal is 5 hours ; without meal is 4 hours.

Detailed itinerary

We'll start the tour from our office, the address is 67 Tran Quang Khai street, Cam Chau ward, Hoi An city (This is also the address of Song Thanh restaurant)

After getting comfortable with riding bicicle, we hit the road. Avoid the traffic, we weave through small alleyways and drive to the fist stop. Meet a local family, you will learn how to make healthy Bean Sprouts in the oldest sprout producer of Hoi An. The making process is fascinating.

Stop 3

Ride past the duck farms. Enjoy the nice breeze from rice paddies, take in the views of cow and buffalo herds grazing in the fieds. We soon visit Tra Que vegetable village. Take a short walk in the gardens to see and smell amazing local herbs. We then meet a local farmer, he will show you how to work the soil. You will help him plant some veggies/ herbs, You will carry the water cans on yor shoulders to water the veggies.

Continue our ride on quiet paths along with prawn farms, rice fields and herds of water buffaloes. We soon visit the picturesque Cam Thanh water coconut/ palm village. Sit down to enjoy some tea and roasted sweet coconut. We then hop in the unique round basket boats and enjoy a relaxing trip along the river, under the shade of water palm. Local boat driver will help you use the fishing rod to catch some river crabs for fun.

After the boat trip, we drive through small roads along the river. Soon, we enjoy a delicious Vietnamese meal at a riverside restaurant (our office / starting point).
