We will move from the city of Villahermosa in Tabasco to Palenque in Chiapas to visit the archaeological site of the same name. The Palenque Archaeological Zone is located approximately 2 hours away from Villahermosa, it is surrounded by a jungle and is one of the most enigmatic archaeological sites in the country, being considered by the UNESCO as a cultural heritage of mankind. It is one of the best preserved Mayan cities which has a lot of recorded history. Your guide will tell you the story of Pakal, the red Reyna and warlike people.
