After a morning dedicated to this very special wine region, enjoy some free time in Saint-Paul de Vence, a charming medieval village made famous by the artists who have lived here. Its cobbled stone streets and scenic views of the Mediterranean have created a place you won’t forget. You will also have a break for lunch there.
In the afternoon, you will go to a unique family-owned winery. You might be more than surprised to discover their winemaking process, inspired by the ancestral winemaking methods. It creates, as a result, unique wines that taste like no others. It will be the perfect conclusion for your relaxing and educational wine tour about French Riviera wines!
You will meet your english-speaking wine expert guide at 9am in front of our meeting point (centrally located) in Nice.
Your guide will drive you in a clean, comfortable & A/C minivan accommodating up to 8 people maximum.
Around 9.30am, you will arrive in the wine region of Bellet, located at the north of Nice.
You will visit 2 wineries in the morning, get about 1h30 free time for lunch in the beautiful medieval village of Saint-Paul de Vence, a charming village made famous by the artists who have lived there, and then visit a 3rd winery in the afternoon.
You will taste a selection of whites, dry rosés and well-balanced reds along the day.
You will be back to Nice around 4.45pm to the same place where we met in the morning (starting point).
We select different types of wineries in order to offer you the opportunity to see different ways to work. We have developed partnerships allowing us to take you behind the scenes: from the winemaking & aging rooms to the bottling lines, you will see everything!
Your guide will also explain you about the soil, the climate, the grape varieties, the famous "terroir" but also the picking, pruning, green harvesting and many other subjects in a relaxed and educational way.
