About this experience

For lots of fun under the sun, you can't beat a day at South Sea Island. Approx 30 minute ferry ride from Port Denarau.
It may be small in size, but there is plenty to keep you entertained. The hardest part is choosing what to do first! There is a salt water swimming pool and FREE use of non-motorized water sports equipment, including kayaking and sailing. Discover the underwater world with hours of snorkelling or jump on board the semi-submersible coral viewer.
A tasty BBQ buffet lunch, beer, wine and soft drinks are included while ashore.
Although the island is uninhabited, you can still get a taste of Fijian culture with a traditional Meke performance and craft market Monday to Saturday.

For lots of fun under the sun, you can't beat a day at South Sea Island. A day trip to South Sea Island is an easy 30 minute ferry ride from Denarau Marina with South Sea Cruises.
It may be small in size, but there is plenty to keep you entertained. The hardest part is choosing what to do first! There is a salt water swimming pool and FREE use of non-motorized water sports equipment, including kayaking and sailing. Discover the underwater world with hours of snorkelling or if you want to stay dry, jump on board the semi-submersible coral viewer. Make sure you keep an eye out for Nemo!

Introductory diving (additional cost) is a particular focus on this island with pretty reef formations and plentiful fish making it a first time diver's dream. Start in the pool and then explore the stunning coral gardens and the fish life surrounding the island on a 'Discover Scuba' intro dive. There is also plenty to keep certified divers amused, with several beach dives and a purposefully sunk shipwreck. Diving in this area you can encounter drop offs and wall dives with lots of hard corals, crystal clear water & large schools of pelagic fish.

Important: All reservations and pick-ups from mainland hotels must be reconfirmed with our Port Denarau Reservations office the day before departure by phoning the call center on number +679 999 5512. The coach pickups commence aprox 75min before the vessel departs from Port Denarau. Please check with our reservations team for your coach pickup time or refer to the coach timetable on our website.

Please be waiting 10 minutes prior to the pickup time at the current pickup location. If you miss the complimentary coach transfer, you will need to find your own way to Port Denarau before the vessel departs at your own cost.

If you do not require a pickup, please find your own way to the meeting point—South Sea Cruises check-in counter, Passenger Terminal, Port Denarau.

Check-in starts 30 minutes prior to the day cruise departure time. You will need to provide the voucher number of your booking at the South Sea Cruises check-in counter to redeem your boarding pass for the trip.
