Your journey begins with a 1-hour and 45-minute scenic cruise from Port Denarau, passing through the spectacular Mamanuca Islands before arriving at the southern Yasawa Islands, where your island adventure begins.
Timings and Activities: Once you arrive, you will be welcomed to the island and then introduced to your Marine Biologist. The day starts with a presentation providing an overview of how the Marine Sanctuary is managed, how it became a Marine Protected Area, project results to date, and an introduction to current and future initiatives.
There will be two key activities:
1) A guided snorkel with the Marine Biologist to the resorts’ coral gardens to see current conservation projects and participate in coral regeneration
2) A costal or intertidal walk with the resident Marine Biologist

Boarding from Port Denarau, cruise past the stunning Mamanuca Islands enroute to the southern end of the Yasawa Islands where the delights of your island paradise await you.
Once you arrive you’ll have approximately five hours ashore to enjoy lunch, wander the sandy beach, go kayaking, take a dip in the ocean or enjoy superb snorkelling with colourful corals with abundant fish life.
South Sea Cruises check-in counter is situated in the passenger terminal at Port Denarau. Upon entry to the terminal, you’ll see the South Sea Cruises kiosk and we recommend you check in 30 minutes prior to departure.
Important: All reservations and pick-ups from mainland hotels must be reconfirmed with our Port Denarau Reservations office the day before departure by phoning the call center on number +679 999 5512. The coach pickups commence aprox 75min before the vessel departs from Port Denarau.
