Sail along the rugged coastline, marveling at the picturesque cliffs and colorful villages nestled between the green of the Mediterranean vegetation and the blue of the sea on an exclusive boat excursion from Portofino, reserved for a small group of just 12 guests. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy an unforgettable experience among the natural and historical wonders of Liguria!
Meet the crew 15 minutes before departing time in Marina di Portofino, from where the boat tour will start.
First stop will be the Portofino Lighthouse, located on the promontory of the Regional National Park. From the boat, you will have the chance to admire the beauty of this lighthouse from a privileged perspective: one of the most striking symbols of the area, perched on cliffs overlooking the sea.
Sailing towards San Fruttuoso, you will pass by the bay that houses the submerged statue of Christ of the Abyss, a bronze sculpture placed about 17 meters deep in the water. Created by sculptor Guido Galletti, it is one of the most famous attractions for diving enthusiasts and symbolizes a prayer for the sea and sailors.
Next, you will reach San Fruttuoso, a small bay tucked away in the heart of the Portofino Regional Natural Park, accessible only by sea or via hiking trails. Surrounded by pristine nature and majestic cliffs overlooking the sea, in San Fruttuoso you can admire its white pebble beach and its historic Abbey.
During the tour, a swimming and snorkelling stop may be provided depending on sea conditions and the crew’s discretion. You can relax on board while enjoying snacks and drinks served by the crew.
On the way to Camogli, you will pass by Punta Chiappa, a striking rocky spur that stretches out into the sea, creating a unique landscape. Once in Camogli, immerse yourself in the atmosphere of this picturesque village, known for its pastel-colored houses, lively harbor, and delicious Ligurian cuisine, a symbol of local tradition.
Relax on the route back to Portofino while sipping some limoncello served on board by the crew. The tour ends after about 2 hours, returning to the initial meeting point.
The meeting point is 10 minutes before departure time in Marina di Portofino.
To reach the meeting point, walk along Molo Umberto I until you reach the entrance to the ‘Museo del Parco’. You will find yourself in a forecourt recognisable by the writing ‘Portofino’ on the wall.
