About this experience
Our Vienna Food Tour is a walking tour in small groups around the old town. The tourist is guided by a Local Expert able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities. Our tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Vienna's culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. Have a full meal in at least 4 stops: you will get the chance to try some of the most iconic dishes of Vienna, such as Bretzel, Kaiserschmarrn, Wurst, and of course, Wiener Schnitzel!

Start our journey with a warm, freshly baked Bretzel, with its perfectly golden-brown, crisp exterior and soft, chewy interior.

Viennese sausage stands were added to UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage list in 2024, so it’s a must-try in every trip to Vienna!

Stop 3
Enjoy the atmosphere of a traditional Austrian tavern, trying two of their iconic dishes: the wonderful breaded cutlet, the Wiener Schnitzel, and the spicy eastern european soup, the Goulash.

We will end our tour on a sweet note with one of the most famous dishes of the rich Austrian dessert tradition: Kaiserschmarrn. This dessert looks like a “scrambled” light pancake, and it has a noble history!
For the dinner tour, the Kaiserchmarrn may not always be available, but in that case you will have ample choice between all the delicious typical cakes.
