About this experience

A unique opportunity to hike up the amazing Breidamerkurjökull Glacier with the view over the majestic Glacier Lagoon, Jökulsárlón.
You will meet your certified glacier guide before the start of the tour. There you will receive all the necessary equipment, crampons, helmet, harness and an ice axe.
Starting with the super jeep ride up to the glacier before hiking strapping on your crampons and hike up the glacier.
Your guide will go with you on the glacier and describe all the features of the glacier. Crevasses, moulins and the natural blue ice caves. If you are lucky you will have the chance to look into an natural blue ice tunnel.
