Visit Eklingji Temple that is situated at a half an hour’s drive from Udaipur. Originally built in the 8th century, it has been modified and rebuilt several times. The present structure dates back to the 15th century. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu God, Shiva the patron God of the rulers of the Mewar dynasty of Rajasthan.

Eklingji Temple (2 hours)
You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Eklingji Temple situated just outside Udaipur.
The double storied temple made of sandstone and marble is an architectural marvel. A pyramidal roof covers the main hall of the temple that is supported by several pillars. On entering this hall, you will be welcomed by a silver sculpture of the sacred bull, Nandi. In the temple, there are two other sculptures of Nandi carved in black stone and brass, respectively. The central shrine of the temple is a four-faced sculpture of Eklingji made of black marble. The temple has heavy silver doors with sculptures of the elephant God Ganesha and his brother Kartikeya. Two large water ponds are also located within the temple complex.
