You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to a spice plantation.
On arrival at the plantation you will be greeted with a welcome drink (non-alcoholic). Then your guide will take you on a tour of the plantation. Walk around the plantation and get introduced to the spice plants and fruit trees as your guide tells you about their flowering and fruiting periods.
Learn about organic farming. See how biogas is produced and watch the distillation of cashew Feni, which you can sample if you are of drinking age, along with the equally popular Urak. Children can try their hand at drawing water from a traditional well with a rope.
At the end of the plantation visit, enjoy a home cooked Goan lunch (beverage excluded). You will also have the opportunity to purchase (own expense) locally grown spices and other farm products to take with you, if you wish.
Once your tour will be finished you will be driven back to fixed point / your hotel.
