You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and driven to Arignar Anna Zoological Park.
The zoo has attained excellence in the Conservation Breeding Program for endangered species and creating awareness about the conservation of natural resources. Besides the large variety of flora and fauna, the zoo has some special attractions like the Lion and Deer Safari parks, a walk-through aviary, an aquarium and a forest museum.
Explore the park at your own pace. Near every enclosure there are plaques made of stone, giving details about the particular animal or bird. You will get to see deer, wild buffalo, bear, jackal, hippo, elephant, crocodile and a whole range of exotic birds. Also seen are other species, such as the Muscovy Duck, Bengal Tiger, European Brown Bear, White Tiger and more.
At the end of the visit you will be driven back to Chennai and dropped off at your hotel.
