Once you check out from your hotel in Jaipur, every detail of your transfer to Agra will be taken care of. You will be driven to Agra, situated at a distance of 150 miles from Jaipur, in a private air-conditioned vehicle.
En route stop and visit the 16th century abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri, once the capital of the Mughal dynasty under Emperor Akbar. This walled city is made of red sandstone and is based on the Timurid style of architecture. Visit the beautiful halls and palaces within the city that are remarkably well preserved. There is a massive 180 feet high gateway, the Buland Darwaza, and a huge mosque, the Jama Masjid. A white marble tomb of the Sufi saint, Salim Chisti is also located within the city fort.
After the tour of Fatehpur Sikri, continue your drive to Agra. Stop for lunch (beverage excluded) at a local restaurant. Upon reaching Agra you will be dropped off at your hotel.
