Detailed itinerary

1

You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and driven to the City Palace where you will meet your Guide for the day.

The Crystal Gallery houses a rare collection of crystals  that Maharana Sajjan Singh ordered from F&C Osler & Co in England in 1877. The Maharana died before the collection arrived, and all the items stayed forgotten and packed up in boxes for 110 years. They were put on public display in 1994.

The royal collection includes a number of objets d’art, dinner sets, perfume bottles, decanters, glasses, washing bowls and even furniture. There is a priceless Flora Danica dinner service that bears the royal insignia of the House of Mewar. Of the original Flora Danica service pieces delivered in 1803, 1,530 survive to the present day.
