Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

When you step inside the Colosseum, you aren't just visiting a ruin; you are entering a massive "entertainment machine" that once held 50,000 screaming spectators.

Since your experience includes Arena Floor access, you will enter through the "Gladiator’s Gate". You will stand on a high-tech wooden platform that covers a portion of the original arena. Looking up, you’ll see the 360-degree "wall" of seating tiers, giving you the exact perspective of a gladiator facing the crowd. This is the best spot for photos. From the center, you can look directly down into the exposed Hypogeum (the underground) and see the complex layout of the tunnels without actually being in them.

2
Stop 2

This was the beating heart of the Empire—a dense valley of temples, courthouses, and markets where Julius Caesar walked and history-altering decisions were made.

With your AI Video Guide, you can look at a single standing column and see the massive marble temple that once surrounded it.

3
Stop 3

Palatine Hill was the "Beverly Hills" of Ancient Rome. This is the centermost of the seven hills, where the emperors built their sprawling palaces and where, according to legend, Romulus founded the city.

4

Imperial Forums are a series of monumental squares built by individual leaders like Julius Caesar and Trajan to show off their own power and wealth.

You can view these forums for free from the sidewalks of Via dei Fori Imperiali, but with our ticket, you can actually walk through the ruins.

5
Stop 5

While the Circus Maximus is now a sprawling public park, your AI Video Guide will help you peel back the layers of time to visualize the greatest stadium in human history—which once held an incredible 250,000 spectators!

As part of the Colosseum WORLD experience, you’ll enjoy the site from the exterior while the app recreates the ancient atmosphere.
