From your departure 30 min to arrive at The Roman causeway of Djerba or causeway of El Kantara is a land road 7.5 kilometers long, built by the Romans at the end of the 2nd century and linking Zarzis to the island from Djerba, after spending 15 minutes of discovery we will take the road to Ksar Ghilane for around 2 hours drive

you head towards the desert and the oasis of Ksar Ghilane. Little by little, the road which winds between the hills will take you towards drier and rockier landscapes until the entrance to Ksar Ghilane, where the sand of the desert will finally be present.

Enjoy lunch at a restaurant located near the dunes, which offers a unique ambiance. You will have free time to relax and even bathe in the hot spring in the Ksar Ghilane oasis.
