Detailed itinerary

1

Firstly, we will visit Ronda, located on top of a plateau crossed by the Guadalevín River gorge, we will marvel at the breathtaking views from its most photographed place, the impressive New Bridge, which connects the old city with the new one over a 100 meters deep abyss. With our local guides, we will visit this walled city, protagonist of stories and legends of bandits and bullfighters, and we will understand in first person, the multiple reasons that make Ronda one of the most visited cities in Andalusia. The Czech poet Rainer Maria Rilke said, after traveling throughout Europe, “I have searched everywhere for the dream city, and finally I have found it in Ronda... There is nothing more unexpected in Spain than this wild and mountainous city.” We will enjoy free time for lunch, and take strength to discover our next destination.

2

Next we will visit the beautiful town of Setenil de las Bodegas, a latticework of streets literally embedded in the Guadalporcún River canyon. The rustic beauty of its popular architecture, where the white of the facades, and the ochre of the stone, become its hallmarks, and above all, the uniqueness of its cave streets, will make us fall surrendered to its charm. The village is an outdoor geology lesson, divided by the river, on one side the Sun Caves, and on the other the Shadow Caves, we can enjoy a lovely walk under these ancient stones, where you can walk in the rain... without getting wet! After a bit of leisure in Setenil, our bus will take us to Ronda, the dream city of Andalusia.
Come discover the charms of the city that inspired so many artists with Enjoy Costa del Sol Tours.
