About this experience

The tour begins at 2:00 PM in a Toyota 4x4, following a trail of approximately 50 minutes to the base of the dune. Upon arrival, the vehicle remains at the bottom while we continue on foot, climbing a wooden staircase that gives access to the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. There, we explore some of the most beautiful lagoons in the region, including the famous Lagoa Bonita, Lagoa do Clone, Lagoa do Massarico, and Lagoa do Descanso, among others. Each stop offers stunning scenery, crystal-clear waters, and a unique connection with nature. In the late afternoon, we prepare for one of the highlights of the tour: watching the spectacular sunset that paints the sky and dunes in golden and orange tones—a truly unforgettable natural show. The return to Barreirinhas is scheduled for around 7:00 PM, wrapping up an afternoon of adventure, breathtaking landscapes, and lasting memories.
