Your day will begin early, with a 4:20 AM pickup and a packed breakfast. The 2.5-hour drive to the Volcanoes National Park reception will take you through the stunning landscapes of Rwanda’s northern province. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a cup of coffee while your guide processes your gorilla permit and passport. Afterward, you'll attend a briefing with park officials, learning about the specific gorilla family you'll visit. Following the briefing, you'll drive from the reception to the park entry, where the trek starts. The trek’s duration may vary depending on the location of the gorilla family—ranging from short to long. Once you encounter the gorillas, you'll spend one magical hour observing them in their natural habitat. After this incredible experience, you will return to the parking area, and your guide will take you for a late lunch. Finally, you will be driven back to Kigali, where the trip concludes, marking the end of your unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure.
