Embark on a true Safari EN Truck Safari, accompanied by a passionate Guide who will make you discover the Dominican Republic differently.

EN small group (maximum 20 people), enjoy an authentic day away from the tourist crowds.

- Visit to a cigar factory DE
- Discovery DE plantations in the heights
- Champs DE sugarcane, tasting and visit of a batey with school (possibility to bring supplies)

Typical lunch on DE wood fire in the village DE El Gato, with local products (shrimp, Creole rice, plantains, donuts, fruit, coffee, mamajuana).

Then DEsc en route to the river Chavón in a motorized platform: swimming possible via a vine and Dominican atmosphere with dancers to the rhythm of bachata/merengue.

Discovery DE the sugarcane plantation. With tasting DE the freshly cut cane. The Guide will explain you about cutting , loading, transport... on one of the first Dominican productions.

Visit to a Dominican country school DE called "les batey" where DE children from sugar cane cutting families attend school. The time will be short so DE not disturb the class. I always try DE make this stop at DE school break.

Discover and visit the local Point of Sale of Higuey.
Total immersion of a typical Dominican Point of Sale where the mixture of spices will be felt and where the colors will mix between tropical fruits and vegetables.

Arret has a craft factory to discover how DE cigars are made. A flagship product here EN Dominican Republic

You will go to a local who owns a large plantation, also called Finca. Discovery of coffee and cocoa

Lunch will take place in a local restaurant called DE "Chez l'Indian". Guests can enjoy a typical Dominican meal accompanied DE its succulent shrimp.

Always accompanied by dugui DE, you will embark on a barge that will take you on the river chavon in the middle of the rainforest.
A stop is planned for people wishing to test the leap DE liane and swim in the river.
Dancers will animate this crossing to make you dance to the batchata and merengue that is the music of the festive country.
Before arriving at the final point to pick up the safari truck and return to Bayahibe.
