Let’s slow down, forget about the crowds and queues elsewhere. This is a jewel among the museums of Paris, it’s rarely overcrowded. One man’s life and passion is housed in this space. We meet at the entrance gate, and then spend two hours exploring the collection. The museum was once his home and studio. It was bequeathed to the nation to display his own remarkable art and the art of others he loved and collected. His complicated love life is evident in the art, the ménage à trois of Rodin, Rose & Camille is just one thread that I will explore during our time together.
He created a revolution in sculpture equivalent to what Monet and his friends were doing with paint. I will explain why his art is still relevant to us today.

The tour reservation is NOT a museum ticket. A MUSEUM TICKET can be obtained at the rodin.fr website, or simply at the entrance hallway (15€). All children under 18 get in free with ID. EU students under 25 also get in for free. If you have the Paris Museum Pass this is also a valid entry for the museum.
