Creating food and wine experiences with a soul on the French Riviera
Your authentic Provencal city food tour starts here!
We will promenade through a lovely open-air farmer's market, admire the CANNES sign, and taste the finest Provençal braised onion flatbread with a secret ingredient.
You will then explore in-season produce, French meat cuts, and locally sourced fish, and immerse yourself in the art of shopping like a French chef, acquiring the most exquisite ingredients.
We will then enter the covered farmer's market Art Deco building imagined by French architecte Henri Bret and continue our gourmet trip with the finest Provencal street foods like zucchini flower fritters, and our famous savory chickpea crepe with black pepper cooked in a traditional flame oven.
Following a delightful but busy stroll through the farmer's market, the French often retreat to a charming nearby bar for a convivial glass of wine with friends before indulging in a homemade lunch. This cherished ritual, known as "l'Apéro," embodies the art of savoring life's simple pleasures. Immerse yourself in the refined yet inviting French lifestyle by tasting a glass of elegantly chilled Provençal rosé wine, perfectly complemented by a luscious olive spread atop a crispy, golden toast.
If you want to enhance your understanding and enjoyment of wine, allow your guide, a wine-tasting expert to gracefully guide you through a tasting sheet with series of effortless steps.
Born and raised in the French countryside, your tour guide Virginie has fond memories of enjoying homemade lunches at her grandmother's farm. Fortunately for us, she has discovered a place in Cannes where it feels like having lunch at her Grandmas. Indulge in a delicious, typical lunch made daily with fresh produce.
A homemade lunch wouldn't be complete without a selection of French mini desserts from our favorite local bakeries: a lemon tart, a chocolate macaron, and a top-rated local sweet star...
